Today is July 23 - upcoming events include my Monday night residency at MiNG"S CAFE - this is a great Asian restaurant w/ a lovely acoustic piano.
I'm there w/ a trio (Brad Houser on bass/horn and Eldridge Goins on drums) - we're playing jazz standards and Disney Classics -
We are the "Mingtones" - join us 8-10 Mondays!

I now also play vibraphone and accordion with the LOVELY Suzanna Choffel - every Tues at MOMOS CLUB 9:30

This fabulous dance production group found me and I'm composing and performing a large portion of music for this event -
This show is comprised of phenomenal members of Kansas City music community and Ballet company,
nationally acclaimed aerialists, contortionists, and hand balancing performers,
multi screen projections, state of the art lighting and stage design,
amazing sound in the 800 seat historic Madrid Theatre.

OLD NEWS ~ from January 2007
This week I leave to Berlin, Germany for the next two months until mid March. Why? to do a residency with Australian dancer / choreographer Diane Busuttil at Fabrik Potsdam - Center for Dance and Movement Art. My primary role will involve filming and editing a video documentary on Diane's womens studies grant project :: the "Perfect Woman" - We will do 4-5 weeks of research / discussion / movement with groups of ladies 15-18 years old and women 50 years and older, and then give a video presentation March 7, 2007 in Potsdam, Germany. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to work with this new group and the challenge of working within the German language. Here's my new video rig!
